A site that allows you to to easily track what people are saying about you, your company, a new product, or any topic across the web’s social media landscape in real-time. I know there’s lots similar, technorati, google alerts etc etc but this is quite nice in that it aggregates it all into one report.
Not so good for the larger brand that gets mentions every minute though as it ranks you 100/100 and it would be simply too much info to try to keep an eye on. This is where sentiment analysis comes in handy. Some are doing it quite well already, such as Brand Watch, but no one has cracked it completely accurately to account for sarcasm etc. Reckon the big G must be working on something.
