I’m not sure if this is uber intelligent piece of PR that is a little twattish on Obama’s behalf or a genuine mistake. Obama had airforce 1 fly low over Manhattan rooftops today with a fighter jet in toe so that they could take some pictures of the presidents official star wars style jet.
Well obviously bearing in mind the tragic events of 9/11 seeing a jet flying so uncharacteristically low of NYC gave a few of the locals a bit of fright!
Obama has been reponsible for some great marketing both online and offline leading up to the election. Some even claiming that his use of digital may have helped win him the election. I’m not sure if this had some more intelligent PR expertise behind it or not but its certainly done the trick even if it wasn’t planned.
